Domaine de la Bonserine

Domaine de Bonserine is a prestigious wine estate located in the heart of the Northern Rhône Valley, specifically in the village of Ampuis. Spanning approximately 11 hectares in the Côte-Rôtie AOC and 1 hectare in Condrieu, the estate is renowned for its commitment to traditional viticulture and the expression of unique terroirs. Their vineyards are situated on some of the most celebrated "lieux-dits" in the region, including Côte-Blonde, Côte-Brune, and les Moutonnes.

The domaine is particularly distinguished by its focus on "Serine," an ancient, traditional variety of Syrah that produces small, loose clusters with an intense and singular aromatic profile. While the red wines are dominated by Syrah, they often include a small percentage of Viognier (around 3%)—a classic Côte-Rôtie practice that adds floral elegance and finesse to the powerful, spice-driven character of the wines.
