Nestled in the heart of the Cahors wine region in Albas, France, Château Eugénie embodies a rich heritage of viticulture that dates back to 1470, when the Couture family served the Lord of Albas as dedicated winegrowers. Named in honor of their ancestor Eugénie, the estate spans diverse terroirs, including gravel, clay, silica, limestone, and iron-rich soils, which provide an ideal foundation for cultivating Malbec—the region's signature grape variety. The vineyards, basking in optimal sunlight on the terraces of the Lot Valley, half-slopes, and the plateaus of the Causse, yield wines that authentically express the character of their origins.
