Pascal Walczak comes from a long line of winemakers, but his dream was always to establish his own estate and craft Champagne in the renowned village of Les Riceys. That dream took shape in 1973, marking the beginning of a long and fulfilling journey filled with both hard work and deep personal satisfaction. Over the years, Pascal carefully acquired land to build his vineyard, and today, the family cultivates 10 hectares of vines. They produce their own Champagnes and the famed Rosé des Riceys—an AOP wine unique to the commune—entirely on site. With an annual production of 70,000 to 80,000 bottles, their wines reflect a commitment to quality and sustainable viticulture, proudly certified by the Terra Vitis label.
Since joining the family estate in 2003, his ambition has been to strengthen the identity of the House by crafting wines that honor the terroir, respect nature, and consistently uphold the highest standards of quality. Today, all the vines are cultivated without the use of herbicides, with careful attention to detail that results in aromatic, expressive grapes that truly reflect the character of the soil. Through precise juice separation, consistent blending, and long aging in the cellar, the estate offers a complete range of wines that contribute to the enduring reputation of the Walczak brand.
